Freestone
The band Freestone produced and released the concept album inspired by freemasonry. The name originates from 'Freestone mason', used in Freemasonry. Music and lyrics contain references to the symbolism and rituals of Freemasonry. For artwork several international artists of whom a few are Freemasons have contributed a (Masonic) work of art.

Freestone produces popular music with a different sound. Pop and rock music of which the content refers to different themes commonly found in popmusic. By means of progressive popmusic there is attention for mystical traditions, that can contribute to quality of live.

Freestone's producer is a musicologist and lecturer Popular Music Studies in Higher Education in The Netherlands.
After having studied Popular Music at the University of Amsterdam and Music Philosophy at the University of Leiden, he studied Musicology at the University Utrecht and University of Groningen. He is a member of IASPM (International Association of for the Study of Popular Music).

In 2008 he released under the Freestone The Temple of Humanity, an album with rock music, lyrics and artwork inspired by the Freemasonry. Freestone is band with a collaboration of musicians of whom some have roots in Freemasonry.
